Deep purple color and a large taste of grape make this an excellent choice. Tannins are not intrusive - their presence holds the berry/cherry flavors together. The finish is slightly astringent, with a peppery pop at the end. At this price - an astonishingly good sangiovese.

Actually a really good Sangiovese, especially at this price. Stands on it's own nicely, with a powerful flavor and a intruiging palate, best bargain wine I've had in a while (especially if you do the three-for deal!)

A pleasant surprise for such an affordable wine! Good concentration and complexity.More well structured than Falesco Vitiano.This red opens up instead of breaking down.Great with or without food.
