Winemaker's Notes

This wine is deep ruby red in color, exhibiting aromas of violets and round, supple tannins. The mouth is full of fruity sweetness and pastry flavors with notes of licorice. It has balanced flavors of cooked plums and figs and a nice long finish.

The red wine drinkers at my 2010 Christmas party went crazy for this red! I particularly liked the dry, cocoa taste at the back of the throat. Can't wait to have again!
