Displaying rich color, soft, seamless tannins and enticing fruit, our 2008 Decoy Napa Valley Red
Wine offers a lush and appealing expression of Bordeaux-varietal winemaking. The nose begins with
fresh berry and black currant aromas, underscored by more sophisticated notes of dark plum,
leather, walnut, clove and sage. On the palate, flavors of red currant, blueberry, vanilla bean and
macadamia nut are supported by subtle nuances of oak that add texture to a long, satisfying finish.
This wine is as stated, Supple and smooth. Tannins throughout, and a beautiful roundness to this wine. I was able to get this wine for $17, which I believe was a great deal. I feel for that price it stacks up but, there are wines for a few more dollars I would prefer.
