DeLoach Russian River Sauvignon Blanc 2005

Using estate grapes and selected fruit from growers in the Russian River Valley, the "Russian River Valley" series of wines represent the "heart and soul" of De Loach's offerings. Consistently award winning and satisfying, the wines exhibit an elegant fruit-forward flavor profile unique to this appellation. This Sauvignon Blanc was made in much the same style as De Loach's previous vintages of Fume Blanc.

Nose: Delicious aromas of melon, passionfruit and dry grass.

Palate: On the palate, flavors of green apple, grapefruit and kiwi are complimented by subtle hints of lychee. A bright crisp wine with a clean lingering finish.

Food Pairing: Scallop Ceviche; Salad with Grapefruit, Orange, and Avocado; Halibut with Lemon Beurre Blanc.
