Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Ripe flavors of fresh apple, citrus and tropical fruit flavors.

Cantine Leonardo da Vinci is a growers' cooperative with over 500 hectares (1,236 acres) under vine throughout the Chianti Region. Located in Vinci, Italy, Cantine Leonardo da Vinci's philosophy to producing Chianti is "A New World Approach to an Old World Classic." The same approach applies to DaVinci's white wine, a rich Pinot Grigio sourced primarily from the Alto-Adige and Trentino districts within the Delle Venezie region.
