Clear, purple-red in color, with good depth and 'legs' indicating the certain structure. On the nose, the wine is spicy with perfumes of cherries and flowers, especially violets. On the palate, the wine is ripe and well balanced.
ALCOHOL: 12.5% by volume
"Bright aromas of cherry and pencil show excellent balance. Sweet-tart flavors of black cherry, nutmeg and minerals. Wood tannins mark the close"

This is just the most excellent wine.l I was truly disappointed to find it sold out when I went back to order more. Not surprising that it was sold out, as I'm sure others found it to be wonderful, too.
