Cuvaison Estate Selection Pinot Noir 2001

Cuvaison's Estate Selection wines embody the most intense expression of fruit that our Carneros vineyard offers. Our entire Cuvaison estate comprises fifty-seven distinct blocks, forty Chardonnay and seventeen Pinot Noir, with each block expressing different characteristics based on rootstock, clonal selection, exposure, climate and soil type. All blocks are hand picked and vinified separately with extreme care and minimal handling. Only the finest blocks, about four percent of the entire estate, are handcrafted into our Estate Selection series. The Estate Selection package conveys simplicity and elegance for our most complex wines.
