The fruit for this wine, which is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, was grown on a vineyard in the Wallcliff sub-region of Margaret River that is owned by Mark Hands and Ariane Cullen. The wine was bottled using Stelvin closure.
Colour: Lovely rich red with strong crimson meniscus
Bouquet: Very attractive fresh cherry and chocolate aromas
Palate: The intense and rich black cherry flavours, which fill out the middle palate, are backed by just the right amount of tannins
Cellaring: Delicious current drinking, but has the depth and structure to age for at least five years
Food: A very versatile wine that can be consumed as a café style or with mild Asian food, but has the depth of flavour to accompany a good steak
