We generally favor heavier reds, so I bought this wine with low expectations just to have a rose on hand. After one bottle, I ordered a case. It is light and crisp, but has much more depth and character than typical American pinks (like white zins and white grenache's). Not overly sweet at all, and meatiness and earthiness of malbec is present on the back, beneath summer fruit and florals up front. This wine isn't going to "wow" anybody, but it is very nice to have moderately chilled, on a warm evening on the patio with fresh fuits or cheeses.
