this wine is indeed a good value. And like a lot of other good value's out there it's not particularly interesting. Pinot's under $20 are hard to find and usually lack a lot of interest. This is made in the more jammy style with lots of plum notes, classically mellow, and a very soft finish. for my own particular tastes I'd like to see more acid here with a leaner body (as that's what I prefer in my pinots), however if I could find any such thing under $10 I'd be shocked and amazed. Basically, this IS a very good value and there's no reason to nit-pick. It's tasty. Not flawed in any way. And a damn fine value.
