Bright cherry color with sweet vanilla, cedar and spice on the nose. Rich and mouth filling, this outstanding Reserva is balanced by excellent acidity, medium tannins and a long silky finish. A great match for roasted meats, grilled game and medium cheeses.

The Wine...Conde de Valdmar Rioja Reserva 2005 The Scene...the wife and I celebrating our 24th wedding anniversay. Originally had plans to go out for dinner but that didn't work out so we planned a dinner at home with some grilling outdoors seeing that the weather was beautiful for the month of October. Wine had a lovely color to it and the taste and feel was very smooth. The wife enjoyed this one and my exploration with the Tempranillo is continuing with future purchases from the Rioja region.
