Concha y Toro Marques de Casa Concha Merlot 2004
Merlot
from Chile, South America
winemaker's notes:
Velvety, supple, mouthwatering Merlot from Chile at a great price. Deep purple in color, with a bouquet of red plums, black peppers, cassis, with hints of spices. This Merlot has velvety, firm, ripe tannins imparting smoothness and balance. Subtle hints of vanilla and ripe fruit.
Aged 14 months in one, two, and three years old French oak barrels, then aged for a further six to 8 months after bottling.
Enjoy with red and white meats, pasta, cheese.

HERE IS A MERLOT AT THE TOP END. ALL THAT IS GOOD AND MAKES A MERLOT. THIS MERLOT IS NO WEAKLING, IT WILL FIGHT TO THE END WITH THE BEST OF THEM. GOOD TO THE LAST DROP.
Full bodied and rich, it is wonderful with red meat or pasta.
A Customer - New York, NY
Ran across this delicious bottle of Merlot at a last-minute gathering. We brought the steak and they brought the wine. I am not a big Merlot fan, but this won me over. It was bold without being overpowering. "Juicy" and "Sexy" - definitely a winner.
