Columbia Crest Two Vines Shiraz 2002
Syrah/Shiraz
from Columbia Valley, Washington
winemaker's notes:
The Two Vines Shiraz is crafted in the ripe, jammy fruit-forward style of New World Shiraz. Black cherry is evident in the aromatics and on the palate. The fruit is threaded with subtle white pepper and chocolate nuances. The wine offers a full mouth feel and supple, lingering finish.

This inexpensive explosion will do your palate, your dinner, and your pocketbook one simultaneous flavor-favor. Order a case. Order a truck. You won't regret it.
Few wines are currently available at this price with this much ACTION and NUANCE.
Like to spend money? Go to France. Like a bargain? This is it.
Smooth, robust, full of fruit and pepper, full of fun, full of life. This is what searching for good buys is all about.
Thank you Columbia Crest. Thank you Bacchus. Thank you, thank you.

A light, slight fruity taste on the front end, pleasant body. Not as dark/smokey or heavy as their Merlot Cabernet. In all, an enjoyable wine, priced well below its worth. Highly recommended!!!
