Merlot
from Columbia Valley, Washington
winemaker's notes:
Number 73 on the Wine.com 100 of 2007!
Just-picked aromas of raspberry and black cherry introduce a plush balance of fruit and oak in the mouth. Berry and subtle cocoa flavors
linger on the palate.

It is not just the best under-$10 merlot I have ever tasted. It is one of the best merlots, period. get it while you still can.

I bought this wine on sale in my local store and it is amazing for the price. It is much better than some of the higher priced merlots. The 2003 shiraz is also a good. I went back and bought a case of each.

After having lived in the Seattle area for two years, my wife and I fell in love with the Columbia Crest reds. The 2002 Two Vines Merlot is possibly the best of the bunch, and at sub-$10 bottle prices, it can't be beat. Give it a shot, please!
