Strong taste for a Merlot and an incredible value. Very enjoyable.

When we first opened and poured, we thought good, not great. A touch tight and herbal. Man, as it opened up, combo of milk and dark chocolate, herbs turned to a touch of mint and rosemary. Enough tannin to not be a fruit bomb but still very, very round and smooth. Great wine for the $$.

Took the advice and let it breathe for an hour or so. But, for comparitive reasons, I tried some right away. The flavors settle as it airs out adding spice and dryness to the finish. A beautiful wine.

Excellent Merlot for the price. If you let it breath an hour or so, you will be well rewarded.

Best Merlot I've tasted for under $20 this year. Columbia Crest does it again - always a great value.

Excellent value Merlot, Columbia Crest Cab 2003 is also a great value. Let it breath for at least 15 mins, smooth, vanilla, berries.

Open this up, and let it breathe. Then enjoy! Flavors of plum, berries are delectable on the palate. Not overwhelming. Enjoy a bottle now, and save one for a couple of years from now.

Musky at first on nose, with a hint of plum. Velvet on the pallette, smooth, and enough of the tannins remain to keep it honest. Cinnamon, oak, and some fruit on a mildly lingering afterthought. Great wine for the money.
