The very first time I pressed my lips against a glass of Columbia Crest Merlot was about 9 months ago. I'm just begining to experience wines especially, red wines. I was at a girls night out, a spa event and I told my girlfriend I just wanted a little to taste and, oh my gosh! it was like the smoothest velvet caressing my mouth. I haven't tasted anything like it since that evening. Of course I helped myself to about 2 more glasses and have been buying it ever since.

Sight - Ruby red Nose - Oak and vanilla Taste - Oak, buttery vanilla, ripe cherry and strawberry, very smooth, very sweet, and delicious. Sweet! Very ripe and smooth. If you want a sweet red minus astringency, this is the wine for you.
