Winemaker's Notes

Spice, blackberries and cassis aromas fill the nose followed by a medium-bodied, concentrated and satin textured mid-palate; the long finish offers silky tannins and dark chocolate notes.

"The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is another winner for Columbia Crest, bringing spicy blackberry and cassis fruit to a wine with substantial weight and tannin for its price. There are somewhat aggressive notes of vanilla and tobacco, but the fruit and tannin stand up smartly, bringing the wine to a firm and full-bodied finish with added notes of chocolate and toast." 88 Points,
Wine Enthusiast
