Columbia Crest Grand Estates Cabernet Sauvignon 2002
Cabernet Sauvignon
from Columbia Valley, Washington
winemaker's notes:
A medium-bodied wine with supple tannins that is packed with intense black cherry, cocoa and smoke. Complex, rich and aromatic, this stylish wine offers balance and finesse from start to finish.
"Though the Wine Advocate has been bellowing it for years, it is worth repeating: Columbia Crest is the source of some of the finest values in the world..."
-Wine Advocate
Quite possibly the most complex and satisfying $9 Cabernet ever produced. Wine is inky black in the glass and dark and rich in the mouth. Wonderful.
It is doubtful you will find a more definitive, satisfying or enjoyable Cab for the price. One of the best values I have come across, and was the hit of our dinner party tonight. Buy this one, and then buy some more.
A very good cab that ranks right up against the more expensive ones, but at only half the price!! Impress your guests and save your wallet
