#29 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2011
2010 has produced a Sauvignon Blanc of vibrant intensity. The characteristically upliftingaromas of ripe lime and grapefruit, nectarine, papaya and mango and floral notes of orange blossom, gooseberry and sweet fennel are striking. A small portion of barrel ferment and subtle use of solids in fermentation has resulted in a chalky and weighty texture balanced by a minerally-citrus acid backbone. The wine has elegant line and length; refined, fleshy yet focussed and refreshing.
"Tangerine, mango and citrus flavors are pure and focused, smooth, round and wonderfully refreshing, with peach, Key lime pie, mineral and floral elements that really take off on the finish. Drink now."

"Pale yellow-straw with a green tinge. Ripe soft citrus fruits and spices on the nose and palate. Nicely concentrated, supple sauvignon with good energy and breadth. In a fairly gentle style for this bottling. Finishes with very good perfumed persistence. "
