Light to medium bodied wines that are high in acid and light to medium fruit. Typically no oak.
Light to medium bodied wines with lots of juicy fruit, typically medium acid and medium oak.
Full bodied wines that have typically undergone malo-lactic fermentation and/or spent time in oak.
Aged without oak and does not go through malolactic fermentation, showcasing the tropical fruit flavors of the grape. The bright acidity from the cool growing region of Monterey is prevalent throughout the palate. On the nose I get pineapple, bananas, lemons and a hint of coconut. The palate is consistent with the nose, except for the addition of a little lime rind on the finish.
Pair with brie cheese, shrimp cocktail and caesar salad.
