A Bordeaux blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6%, Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot and 4%, Petit Verdot.

Clos Du Val has created world-class Cabernet Sauvignon since 1972, and this latest vintage continues the winery's tradition of balanced, elegant and complex wines made to enjoy with a meal. Deep purple-black in color, the 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of black currant, cassis and spice. Intense flavors of black fruit, dried herbs and a hint of spice fill the mouth. The wine has a powerful, solid middle and a chalky, lingering finish. Expect this Cabernet Sauvignon to age gracefully for an additional 5-10 years.

Deep purple-black in color; Aromas of black currant, cassis and spice; Powerful and full-bodied on the palate, packed with the rich flavors of ripe dark fruit, cassis and spice. Tannins are silky and smooth, resulting in a seamless yet, at the same time, intense wine; Structured and balanced; Lingering finish.

somewhat thin and disappointing. not much fruit and the finish was rather short. was expecting more tannin considering the vintage. drink now.
