Cline Pinot Grigio-Chardonnay 2006

For the 2005 vintage, the blend of 62% Pinot Grigio and 38% Chardonnay provides fruit-forward elements of pineapple, apple, ripe pear and creamy lemon. The Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio were blended together when there was still a small amount of unfermented sugar in the Chardonnay – resulting in a wine with excellent sugar-acid balance.

This wine works equally well as an aperitif or as a perfect match for quiche with a butter lettuce salad, herb-crusted halibut or lobster with tarragon butter.
