Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

The Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has dusty cassis, chocolate and toasty notes, highlighted with dried herb and orange zest aromas. It's rich and soft in the mouth, with a toasty, dry finish of fine, dusty tannins.

Critical Acclaim

"Plenty of good fruit on the palate with black currants and berry character on the nose and palate. Medium to full body, with fine tannins and a fruit finish. Delicate and pleasing. Screwcap. Drink now or hold. "

Big Fan of this. If you blind tasted this with a 60$ bottle you would be hard pressed to pick the cheap bottle. Do not let the price fool you this is very good!!!

Good but a little bigger fruit forward than I normal go for. Definitely a good value at $12.79.

I bought this wine based on the other positive reviews, but did not have the same experience. This wine lacked any real body or character and finished without any significant statement.
