Chris Ringland CR Ebenezer Shiraz 2007

The 2007 vintage was proceeded by very dry conditions through the winter months resulting in very little sub soil moisture combining with some of the worst frost conditions through the early spring meant the vines self regulated to deliver a lower than average crop. The fine harvest conditions meant Shiraz picking started in the last week of February and proceeded without problems through to late March.

The 07 CR Shiraz displays a deep red-black with a scarlet orange rim in the glass. The aroma explodes with sweet red berry perfume, white florals, liquorice and aniseed and laced with a sweet vanillin back note. The rich mouth filling attack of red berries and milk chocolate follows through with vanillin on the finish.
