Critical Acclaim

"Range: 92-94"
94 Points

"Fieuzal is showing style and promise under new director, Stephen Carrier, and this white is a good indicator. It has forward, ripe white fruits that are lifted with spicy wood and a great waft of herbaceous and citrus flavors. A delicious, rich and aromatic wine."
92 Points

"Good bright lemony color. Candied lemon peel, pineapple, peach, fresh apricot and subtle leesy nuances on the rather serious nose. Very ripe but with the vintage's excellent cut to the stone fruit and spice flavors. A sweet and voluminous wine with lovely intensity and length. Nicely integrated, fresh acidity frames the fruit and gives the finish a firm edge. Range 90-92"

Learn About Bordeaux White Blends

Bordeaux White Blend
There's white wine in Bordeaux, too! Typically made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and bits of Muscadelle, white Bordeaux can be a fully dry table wine or, as in Sauternes, a deliciously sweet dessert wine. In other areas of the world, a Bordeaux blend consists primarily of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, either of which may be the predominant variety. Bordeaux blends can vary in style, but most have good acidity and often a mineral overtone.
