Winemaker's Notes

A deep ruby red colour. The nose evokes aromas of red fruit, blackberries, black cherries and liquorice. In the mouth one finds hints of wild thyme and a finely structured wine that shows very good length.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2006 Coudoulet Rouge is a beautiful, delicious offering with notes of root vegetables interwoven with notions of black cherry jam, licorice, pepper and Provencal herbs. It is ideal for drinking over the next 5-6 years."
