We offer two ways to locate information:
The white wines of Château de Beaucastel are amongst the finest expressions of Roussanne grapes grown in a warm climate. The two cuvees have a lot in common but show different personalities: the standard bottling, made from 80%Roussanne, 20% Grenache Blanc, whose vines are between 10 and 40 years old, and a small quantity of the "Vieilles Vignes" cuvee, produced entirely from Roussanne vines of at least 65 years of age.
To the eye the wine displays a pale golden-yellow hue. The nose is reminiscent of acacia flower, honey and citrus fruit. The texture is very soft and ripe, with flavors of toast and honey. Serve at 50°F.
"The 2009 Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape blanc reveals the greater intensity, richness and potential longevity of this vintage. Made from the same blend as the 2008, the 2009 sees some new oak (15%), but that component is totally hidden by copious notes of quince, honeyed citrus, peaches and apricots. With good acidity as well as a full-bodied mouthfeel, this stunning white should evolve for 7-8 years or longer. "

"A bold, broad style, with gorgeous green fig, pear and melon flavors laced with heather honey and glazed peach notes on the rich finish. Extra persimmon, hazelnut and brioche notes fill in the background, giving added dramatic effect. Drink now through 2018. 2000 cases made."
