Honeysuckle, apple, peach, apricot and vanilla fill the nose of this Chardonnay. On the palate, a tightly structured mouth leads into apple spice, melon and citrus flavors and continues through a long lemon-oil finish.

My wife and I first tasted the Robert Young Chardonnay on our honeymoon in Sonoma County. It was poured alongside and bore a sharp contrast to the '98 Chateau St. Jean Chardonnay's heavier malolactic fermentation. Quite pleasant and fruity, this one is certain to please if you enjoy lighter, sweeter wines.
