Bright and lively, this medium-bodied, single vineyard Chardonnay opens with pleasing stone fruit, vanilla and floral spice aromas. On the palate, the wine is well-structured and extremely balanced. The wine offers an intriguing wet stone minerality along with hints of sweet pineapple and lemon curd that lead to a plush and long lasting finish.
"One of the highlights in this portfolio, the 2010 Chardonnay Belle Terre Vineyard packs serious weight. The aromas and flavors are beautifully layered in the glass. Yellow stone fruits, crushed rocks, flowers and mint flow through to the deep, resonant finish. The 2010 could use another 6-12 months in bottle, as it is still tightly wound. The clean, bracing style is nicely shaped by the year. "
