Critical Acclaim

"Range: 90-92"
92 Points

"Bright ruby-red. Very pure aromas of cassis, minerals, licorice and bitter chocolate, all lifted by a note of violet. Sweet, broad and round for the vintage, with lovely energy to the flavors of cassis, chocolate, minerals, menthol and flowers. Juicy and sophisticated wine with terrific balance and no dip in the middle. Finishes with subtle complexity and length and sweet, fine-grained tannins. A major success for the year. Range: 90-92"
92 Points

"Smoke, tobacco, berry and mineral aromas lead to a full body, with fine, silky tannins and a long finish. Polished and well-made. Slightly hollow, but attractive. Best after 2012. "
