Golden/straw in color. On the nose, I immediately detect a floral sweetness and something that almost reminds me of buttercream icing. Extremely complex. I can't really pinpoint everything that is going on here, but I also get a slight minerally quality. The palate is clean, crisp, and extremely well rounded...Pineapple is immediately detectable, as is green apple (not overly acidic) with just a hint of oak...there is also the same slightly stony quality from the nose...I also get a slight hint of gingerbread... The finish lingers with a mixture of minerals, vanilla, and just a bit of cinnamon...really delicious!!
