Winemaker's Notes

A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon and aged entirely in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months.

Critical Acclaim

"Sexy black cherry/kirsch liqueur-like notes intermixed with plenty of toasty oak, roasted herbs, and meaty scents jump from the glass of this hedonistic, opulent 2005. After some lackluster performances, it is good to see this estate return to form. The wine possesses decent acidity, sweet, velvety tannins, and undeniable sex appeal. Enjoy it over the next 12-15+ years."
