We offer two ways to locate information:
Aged in oak barrels renewed each vintage, château Haut-Marbuzet draws from these casks a perfumed unctuousness which attenuates the traditional virility of the wines of Saint-Estèphe. They are therefore charming as soon as they have been bottled, but given time to age, achieve the subtlety bestowed by the essence of the terroir.
"Vibrant currant and raspberry flavors lend sunniness to the heavier, deeply mineral tannic component in this wine. Complex spice hovers in between, with scents of sassafras relieving some of the gravity and weight. The texture is silken, and the wine feels composed. It should be more accessible in ten years' time, and drink well for another ten after that."

"Good saturated red-ruby. Deep, ripe, expressive aromas of black raspberry, coffee, mocha, menthol, black olive and chocolate truffle. Sweet, seamless and lush, offering excellent volume in the mouth and considerable early sex appeal. This boasts the exotic character of Haut-Marbuzet in spades. Sweet, long, large-scaled wine with fine-grained tannins arriving very late."

International Wine Cellar
"Shows intense aromas of blackberry, currant and spices. Full and rich, with a slightly earthy and funky undertone, but I like the decadence and richness. The tannins are polished. Best after 2013. 30,000 cases made."
