We offer two ways to locate information:
2005 was a very dry year. The drought began very early, at the end of May, allowing the vine to adapt itself by reducing its leaves. The very hot weather in June and July gave way to progressively cooler weather in August and the cool nights allowed good acidity levels to be maintained, resulting in slow steady ripening.
Ideal conditions for healthy, fresh and very ripe grapes. Deep ruby colour, with slight oakiness on the nose and notes of preserved fruit. Somewhat closed on the palate and pleasantly fruity.
"The second wine of Château Duhart Milon in a top year such as 2005 is the equal to many chateau Bordeaux. It has good depth of blackberry and red plum fruits, ripened by sweet acidity, layers of wood and spice, and a great finishing balance. "
