Our estate is unique. The imprint of its terroir is readily apparent in
the aromatics, f lavors and textures of our wines. For Chardonnay, one of the most noteworthy traits is concentration. Our 2010 is a great example. While displaying a bit more elegance than recent vintages, the wine is still wonderfully intense and powerful with notes of baked apple, hazelnuts, lemon peel, nutmeg, brioche and cream.
"Offers an expansive mix of ripe fig, apricot, mango and tropical fruit, holding a rich posture on the long, layered finish. Drink now through 2020."
"Lemon, pastry and white rocks emerge from Chalk Hill's 2010 Chardonnay Estate. Hints of French oak and butter add complexity and nuance while not overpowering the fruit or the wine's freshness. "
