Winemaker's Notes

Brillant ruby color. Notes of toast, mocha, "guarrigue" and cloves. A fresh , powerful attack. Full- bodied, complex structure. Delicate oakey finish.

Critical Acclaim

"Dark red. Explosively aromatic nose offers suave raspberry and candied cherry scents, along with deeper mocha and licorice. Darker fruits on the palate, with sweet raspberry and blackberry flavors, dusty tannins and excellent persistence. This is already very attractive.
Range: 89-91"
91 Points

"Firm and focused, with black tea, dried plum, raspberry and fruitcake notes backed by a perfumy, minerally finish. Long and sinewy, with the flesh in reserve. Drink now through 2016. 250 cases imported."
