From St. Estèphe, in the north of the Médoc, comes a 'Cru Bourgeois' with great potential. Its ruby colour is beginning to show some development on the rim. The nose is a subdued yet concentrated mix of cassis & fresh wood/tobacco, thanks to a predominance of Cabernet sauvignon & 50% new oak. On the palate, the ripeness of the vintage has ensured a firm mouthful of rich blackcurrant fruit, ripe tannins & balanced acidity. The long finish is blessed with pure red fruit.
