Winemaker's Notes

Intense color with purple notes, brilliant and attractive color. Nose with flower notes and fresh fruit. Sweet entrance in the mouth, great volume, freshness and persistency.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2011 Malbec spends nine months in French oak, of which a judicious 10% is new. It is very well-defined, with a crisp blackberry and briary scented nose that is vivacious and delineated. The palate is very well-balanced, the oak sitting back and allowing the exuberant fruit to express itself on the luscious cranberry and wild strawberry finish. This is exactly what one should look for at this price point. Excellent!"
