Winemaker's Notes

A 100% Monastrell wine from the valley. This wine is fermented in steel tanks under temperature control with a soft maceration of skins. After the malolactic fermentation the wine is aged in French and American barrels for a short period (from 3 to 6 months) which gives the wine the fresh and fruity the character of the Monastrell.

Critical Acclaim

"Dark ruby. Sexy, high-pitched aromas of raspberry, cherry, star anise and candied rose, with a touch of orange zest. Smells like a ripe pinot noir. Fleshy and seamless, offering sappy red fruit flavors and a bitter note of rhubarb. Subtle vanilla and licorice notes linger on the smooth, gently tannic finish. Lots of wine for the money."
