Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Pale straw. Bright fresh and lifted. Notes of melon and kiwi. Clean and eminently drinkable. Complex with citric characters and a touch of ulmo honey. Refined with an impeccable pedigree. Seafood, salads and goat cheese

Critical Acclaim

"Greenish-yellow. High-pitched bouquet evokes lime zest, agave, white pepper and a hint of habanero. Dry, incisive citrus and orchard fruit flavors show an emphatically spicy character and pick up a sweet melon nuance on the back half. Offers an intriguing blend of vivacity and richness and finishes with a bright note of lime oil. Excellent Chilean sauvignon blanc. "
