Winemaker's Notes

The Canoe Ridge Red Table Wine continues to be a great, affordable "every day" wine. The 2004 blend consists of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Merlot fruit offers typical rich, velvety flavors of Canby raspberry, Bing and black cherry and Belgian chocolate, while the Cabernet Sauvignon fruit provides a bit of structure and flavors of berry and plum fruit with touches of spice and cedar.

The 2004 Red Table Wine offers fruity aromas of strawberry, cherry, dried fig, and clove with a hint of vanilla and licorice. The soft tannins and fruity aromas make this a very approachable and versatile wine. Enjoy it with grilled lamb chops, beef stews, and hearty pastas.
