Lovely deep, dark purple-red. Initial burst of bright cherries, blackberries, and plum followed by a vanilla and coconut finish. Smooth and fruity initial burst. Good mid-palette with a lingering finish. Some minerality in the end. Soft tannins that made this wine a pleasure to drink.
"Inky purple. Sexy aromas of blueberry and boysenberry compote are complemented by cinnamon and mace, along with a subtle smoky undertone. Gains weight and richness with air, picking up notes of mocha and candied flowers. I looked for tannins but failed to find them. Extremely attractive right now."
