This is a distinctive Chardonnay of intense aromatic complexity, with fragrant varietal aromas of white, citrus and tropical fruits offset by slightly spicy, toasty notes. These complex impressions are confirmed on the palate, supported by a firm yet elegant structure and rich, buttery texture balanced by a sustaining acidity. The finish is long, full and creamy, with pronounced ripe fruit notes and a suggestion of vanilla.

For the last four months I have been more than pleased with each Cakebread bottle that I've been fortunate to open.
The flavor is full and aromatic. The finish is smooooooooooothhhhh and sends electricity throughout the rest of my body. Hold on.... I do taste a bit of vanilla along with...... Almost a citrus blend... Wonderful. If you haven't tasted this wonderfuly crafted blend, please do so and let me know what you think.
