The Cadaretta SBS is a wine designed to be enjoyed in its youth: it's crisp, fruity and full of
minerality. It has a vibrant luster to its straw-yellow color and is perfectly clear. The aromatics are intense, with pear and white flowers, and a back drop of honeysuckle and key-lime. On the palate the most striking aspect of this wine is the rush of juicy acidity that lights up your mouth with
lemon-zest and stonefruit. The finish is a long, lingering sensation of purity and cleanliness.
"78% Sauvignon Blanc; 22% Semillon. Somewhat sedate for a full-blooded Sauvignon Blanc, this one gets better grades when its true identity is revealed and its green melon, citrusy and figgy aroma turns out to suit its blend quite nicely. It is full and firm on the palate and tastes, as it smells, of melons, figs, a squeeze of grapefruit and wisps of grasses, and it finishes with a pleasantly vital, lithe quality."

Bordeaux White Blend There's white wine in Bordeaux, too! Typically made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and bits of Muscadelle, white Bordeaux can be a fully dry table wine or, as in Sauternes, a deliciously sweet dessert wine. In other areas of the world, a Bordeaux blend consists primarily of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, either of which may be the predominant variety. Bordeaux blends can vary in style, but most have good acidity and often a mineral overtone.
