We offer two ways to locate information:
Intense, deep crimson color. On the nose, aromas of red and dark fruit, with redcurrants and plums, also some mint and cedar. The bouquet fills out with notes of vanilla, spices and mocha. This wine has a pleasant tannic structure on the palate and shows good balance. Fine, mellow tannins. Very pleasant soft mouthfeel. Deep and aromatic, this is a wine that can be drunk now but which will develop more elegance over the next three to five years.
Blend: 65% Malbec, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon
"The 2010 Amancaya is a blend of 65% Malbec and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon from several sub-regions, raised for 12 month in French oak (25% new). The Malbec dominates the floral bouquet with dark cherries, violets and strawberry pastilles that is well-defined. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins that lend the Amancaya a silky smooth texture. There is a touch of red peppercorn on the mid-palate with a spicy-tinged finish that is controlled and very focused. This is a classy wine for the price."

The Wine Advocate
"The bouquet is loaded with sweetsmelling aromas of dark plum and blackberry. It feels intense, packed and pure in the mouth, with potent flavors of blackberry, baked plum and cassis. The finish feels mild and smooth, with a long, jammy, steady fade. A blend of 65% Malbec and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon."
