"A 60-40 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, the Buty 2008 Columbia Rediviva Phinny Hill Vineyard features fresh blackberry and cassis tinged with bittersweet nut oils and green herbs on a firm yet finely-tannic palate, leading to a satisfyingly saliva-inducing, abundantly juicy and subtly complex persistence. Our wines aren’t 90% vineyard and 10% winemaking. They are 100% winemaking, 100% vineyard, 100% terroir. We don’t obscure any developmental stages, we include their contributions. We are not “hands off in the cellar". No way! We are completely hands on in our winemaking, knowing we are metamorphosing the sum total of our wines.
