Vinho Verde, the most popular white wine from Portugal, is a deliciously refressing, light wine. "Verde", meaning "Green" refers to the hints of lime color. It is an ideal warm weather wine, excellent for lunch and picnics, or an evening apertif. It makes a brilliant pairing with any fish, shellfish and poultry.

I would buy this wine again
Crisp, lightly fruity and some bubles at the end that make this an excellent Summer wine.

Vinho Verde is a splendid wine. My family and I have enjoyed this wine very much. We first became aware of this wine in Portugal this past April.

wow - what a surprise, the first thing that caught me off guard was that this was slightly carbonated. not too much though. it was very crisp and refreshing. Give it a try.
