A Customer - Virginia
This Madeira is excellent any time of the day, but great to sip on all evening especially. I wish wine.com had a broader selection of Madeira, I say this wondering whether or not an equally great Madeira could be found slightly cheaper-- Jonesy port is $10 and excellent in itself, though I can't speak as to "normal" Madeira pricing. Long story short, this is a great bottle of wine and I highly recommend it.

Great wine, still sweet and young.

wine.com Notes

Madeira: The general term for fortified wines from the island of the same name in the Atlantic Ocean 300 miles due west of Casablanca. Madeira has been an autonomous region of Portugal since 1419. The wine of choice for such early Americans as Thomas Jefferson, Madeira has a long and fascinating history. The wines also enjoy extraordinary longevity. 5-Year-Old Reserve: Broadbent's Reserve is a blend of several different grape varieties and vintages. The 5-Year-Old designation refers to the youngest wine used in the blend, as stipulated under uniform Madeira production regulations. These guidelines were tightened when Portugal joined the EU. Broadbent: The producer. All Madeiras in the Broadbent portfolio are hand-selected on the island by Michael Broadbent, widely considered to be the world's foremost authority on Madeira. Kosher
A Kosher wine begins like every other - as grapes on a vine. Once they reach the winery for crushing, the wine is under strict rabbinal supervision.

Screw Cap wine
Screw Cap
Many studies report and winemakers agree that screw caps protect wine better and preserve its flavor more effectively than cork. More importantly, screw caps eliminate cork taint caused by TCA, a compound which develops in a small percentage of corks and ruins the taste of wine.
