Brancott Sauvignon Blanc 2003
Sauvignon Blanc
from Marlborough, New Zealand
winemaker's notes:
"Juicy and refreshing, with grapefruit and melon flavors that remain zingy through the tart finish. Drink now."
-Wine Spectator "Best Values"
Light straw in colour, the Brancott 2003 Sauvignon Blanc displays aromas of gooseberry and grapefruit with hints of bell pepper, melon and banana esters. Notes of fresh cut grass and herbs highlight intense fruit flavours of grapefruit. A well-balanced wine that demonstrates the lively, crisp acidity associated with this style.

Great Summer Wine!!!
This is refreshing wine to enjoy with or without food. The wine has tastes of melons, green apples and citrus that go well with seafood and white sauces. It's a great wine with a modest price. It has become one of my favorite wines, so I keep several bottles on hand when company comes over or to bring to a get-together.

Loved this wine since I first tried it 5 years ago. The 2003 is one of the best yet - bursting with fresh fruit flavor (nectarine, limes, green apples) at a price that can't be beat. Get a case to enjoy on the patio.
