2010 was a magnificent vintage with the fruit ripened to perfect conditions. This impressive, fullbodied Sauvignon Blanc is handcrafted from grapes grown on our key Marlborough vineyards that have delivered a rich, expressive and flavorsome wine.
The wine is light straw in color with green highlights.
Intense passionfruit and red capsicum aromas abound with
hints of fennel notes. The palate is rich and oily supported
by stone fruit notes and a tantalising minerality. This wine
shows a fantastic equilibrium of concentrated fruit flavours
and zesty acidity.
Cellaring and Food Matching: It would be hard to go past New Zealand green-lipped
mussels cooked à la marinière, with Brancott Estate Reserve
Sauvignon Blanc in the dish as well as served in the glass.
Though made to drink whilst it is young and vivacious, this
wine may be cellared for up to three years to develop
